Welcome!
Dear Colleague,
It is my privilege to invite you to attend the second edition of our updated course dedicated to ventilatory support. This popular conference, which has run to capacity for 13 years, was originally designed to offer detailed instruction in mechanical ventilation and to bring together physicians, respiratory therapists, and other health care providers who must adjust a ventilator on a daily basis – this has proven the right mix. The last decade has brought major progress in the fields of respiratory life support, cardiopulmonary monitoring, and sleep medicine, and our 2012 edition of the Mechanical Ventilation Conference, October 26-28, will reflect these innovations.
The conference is structured with lectures delivered by recognized experts, offered in conjunction with “hands-on” workshops. The workshops provide intensive instruction on case management and machine manipulation, and incorporate the latest thinking and innovations in mechanical ventilation. Intensive tutorials, expressly designed to develop competence in selected new areas of application, are conducted alongside shorter workshops providing participants with a solid basis for understanding.
We hope to see you in October!
